Autobiography
So we had connect (home bible study social meeting) a few weeks ago and my connect leader asked us to imagine we were to write an autobiography of our lives. We were asked to write a summary of our autobiography. Here’s mine -
From a world where the words “curfew” and “suicide bombers” form part of your vocabulary when you are a toddler, I grew up in Sri Lanka – a land rich in culture, tradition, family value.. a land steeped with poverty, hate and racism.. a land torn apart by a civil war..
I grew up surrounded by a loving family, we were part of the Anglican church, I loved God and strived to gain his approval. A not so chance revelation that changed my life and set me up for this amazing adventure all for the glory of one name make up the rest of this book. His name is written on my heart, and my heart continues to beat for his name.. this is my story, my love story with Jesus Christ.
