Odds n ends

It's Labour day Monday, and I just got home from work.. well, at least I have 1/2 of the day left - what an absolutely hot day !! It's almost like summer is here.. I had this weekend off (yes 2 consecutive days - wooohooo !!)
Watched the NRL grand final last night, it was a great game - the West Tigers won 30-16.. with a score right on fulltime.. good on them :) We watched this at church - our church screens the game after the 6pm service and then we all get meat pies and beer (sorry I meant ginger beer.. hehe) at halftime.
Saturday was a busy day, I visited my second cousin Priya and her family (who have just moved to Sydney from NZ) and got lost on the way there.. far out - they keep re-building roads and keep changing traffic rules.. what's a gal to do !! Plus I don't have a Street Directory.. That's coz I reckon I know Sydney like the back of my hand.. err not really :( I am accepting donations via Visa/Mastercard.. Actually I do own a Street Directory... it's somewhere in Joel's car or his garage.. Hmmphh.. Joel if you are reading this - I want it back - Petrol is too expensive for me to be getting lost all around the countryside...
And then the boy I'm dating had a 10K race at the Athletics Centre in Homebush - he did 10,000 Mtrs in 35 mins and 51 secs.. and didn't pass out after!!! This is scary - his parents were also at the stadium.. hmn.. yes so I've met the parents now.. great..
