Update

So, I'm at work.. yes its busy.. but the queries I run take ages spit out anything decent, so I thought I'd fill you in on what I have been up to.

The past few weeks have been busy beyond description. Organising the fundraiser among other disasters, like we didn't have a bank account till the last week, our previous caterer hadn't been cancelled, 2 of our acts cancelled at last minute giving us a very stressful few days to the lead up of the event. But the night itself went off really well, and we raised a decent amount to send to Sri Lanka. I will post some pictures..

Other than that, a friend of mine and her 2 children (Josh and Jez) are living with me till she finds a job and gets back on her feet. The kids are adorable and I love babysitting them (practice ??) On Sunday we were all at church and I had my eyes closed in prayer, when I feel a few drops of water on my head, so me - being the spiritual person that I am, start asking God if this is a sign and what's the sign for ? and then, I open my eyes and see Jez (the youngest and the naughtiest of the 2) had opened up my umbrella (it was a rainy day) IN church ! We couldn't stop laughing after..

Things are slowly getting back to normal, had a friend's birthday bbq last Saturday at Centenial park, it was a very nice day and Fi and I took the kids along with us, and they had so much fun ! Then had a relaxing spa thing at a friend's in the arvo, and family dinner to go to that night at aunt Faye's.
